The Elements of Creating a Web Page

by Scott Britton, Martin Hollick, and Julie Wetherill

The 2nd in a series of 3 Spring Technology Workshops.
Wednesday, March 18, 10-11:30 AM, Lamont Forum Room.

What are the do's and the don't's of Web page creation? This workshop will focus on components that make up an effective Web presence, including content, presentation, and the tools to get it all done. This is not a class on HTML. Workshop presenters will discuss tips about what has worked for them and hope that participants will bring questions and additional suggestions. Those who have developed Web pages and those just learning are welcome.

Scott Britton is Head of Circulation Services at Lamont Library, and Martin Hollick is Reference Librarian for the Widener and Lamont Libraries. They are co-developers / co-maintainers of the Lamont Library Web page.

Julie Wetherill is Training Coordinator / Webmaster in OIS.
