Description of repository / collection image holdings:

Our collections hold thousands of images. Most images are of botanists and their families, field excursions, plants, and portraits of botanical meetings. The formats include: drawings, paintings, slides, daguerreotypes, stereoscopic slides, glass plate negatives, lantern slides, blue-line prints, transparencies, photographs and oversized prints.

What we have in VIA:

The Archives of the Gray Herbarium daguerreotypes collection is scanned and in VIA. A small group of photographs of Edward Palmer from the Archives of the Gray Herbarium and the Farlow Herbarium Archives have also been scanned and added to VIA.
