Ordering Photocopies

All photocopy orders are subject to review by the Reference Staff before processing.


Photocopy requests submitted at the time of your visit:
  • There is no self-service photocopying.
  • Please submit requests at the end of your research visit. Arrangements can be made to mail your photocopies to you.
  • Requests exceeding 50 pages of published material or 30 pages of manuscript material will be processed by the Imaging Services Division of the Harvard College Library. Basic charges are $ .50 per page plus postage, and prepayment is required.
  • Requests of less than 50 pages of published material or 30 pages of manuscript material will be processed at the University Archives. Basic charges are $ .30 per 8½ x 11 page and $ .60 per 11 x 17 page. Printouts from existing microfilm/fiche may be made for $ .15 per page.
  • All photocopy orders that can be processed by Archives staff and submitted during one business day will be completed and available for pick up on the next business day after 2:00 P.M.

Please contact us through our email reference form or by writing to us via standard mail. The Reference Staff will respond with price quotes and ordering information.

Photographic and microfilm copies may be ordered.
Charges for reproduction, postage and a curatorial fee apply. Please contact us for more information.
