17-Nov-2008: There is a discussion on the Sun Java forums on writing a JHOVE module, with some detailed and useful pointers.
5-May-2008: The latest (untested) changes to the JHOVE source code are available on SourceForge. Future updates will be placed there rather than on the HUL site.
