How much material for this project is in analog form (needs to be digitized) and how much is already in digital form? Please include an estimate of the total number of items in the collection.
Describe where the materials are coming from (e.g., one collection or many, a Harvard library, museum, archive, another unit, or an external vendor).
Is the collection described for the public and if so, where (e.g., public catalog, web site)?
Is there additional description elsewhere (e.g., collection management database, paper, files)?
Does Harvard have the right to make the material in the collection accessible online? Please include any information that you have on the copyright status (e.g., Harvard has the copyright, under copyright by publisher, in the public domain).or other rights issues (such as defamation, privacy, license under contract, etc).
Are there any restrictions on access or use of the material (include any restrictions to both digital and analog versions)?
Does this collection contain any High Risk Confidential Information (HRCI) or other sensitive or private information? The next generation of the Digital Repository Service (DRS 2) will have a secure architecture for sensitive data, but the current DRS does not. See Harvard security policy for more information about types of sensitive data and how it must be secured.
