Following a successful librarian preview week, the new HOLLIS discovery system is now available for use by the Harvard community!

Exciting new updates to HOLLIS are now in place: Links to HOLLIS have been added to the Harvard Libraries Portal HOLLIS Catalogs list (http://lib.harvard.edu/). HOLLIS Catalog links have been renamed to HOLLIS Classic. Each HOLLIS Classic screen has links to HOLLIS from the top banner and bottom menu. HOLLIS will be featured in the Harvard Libraries Portal News Box for the month of April, as well.

Please update links in your library portal and bookmarks on public terminals to reflect the new naming convention for HOLLIS Catalog (now HOLLIS Classic; http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:hul.eresource:hollisct). Please add in a new link/bookmark for HOLLIS (http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:hul.eresource:hollisds).

Thank you to all who attended Open Sessions last week. Handouts from the sessions are available in the HOLLIS Documentation Center (http://hul.harvard.edu/ois/support/docs-hollis.html). An additional session is scheduled for Thursday, April 9nd, 2:00pm to 3:30, in the Lamont Forum Room.

We heard many great ideas from those who attended open sessions and from comments sent in via the Feedback links in HOLLIS – please continue to send in your ideas, as we are working to prioritize a list of fixes and enhancements for the next release, expected at the end of the month.
