Following up on our announcement last week about schema changes in OASIS, the dates for the QA period and freeze on production loading will start Thursday April 16th (1 am) and end on Thursday, April 30 (end of day). Starting Thursday, it is important for all liaisons and any other administrative users to spot-check your Finding Aids, and report any unanticipated display issues to: oasis-support@hulmail.harvard.edu. (Please let us know as early as you can if you find anything!)
As promised, sometime during the QA period (as soon as we are able), the OASIS Working Group will distribute the new schema and DTD, along with the new markup guidelines for the changed EAD attributes.
OIS will plan to move the new OASIS database live on or near April 30th.
