5/1: A new virtual collection
Expeditions and
Discoveries: Sponsored Exploration and Scientific Discovery in the Modern
Age was released by Harvard's Open Collections Program.

DRS & Delivery Services
5/1: Full Text Search (FTS) version 1.3.8 indexed a new set of documents
for "Expeditions and Discoveries" (a collection offered by the
Open Collections Program).
5/13: DRS Web Admin release fixed a bug that rarely caused PDS
Maintenance to be locked out of access to the DRS.
5/15:
PDS Maintenance moved to a port-based URL.
5/19: PDS release 1.2.15 included a css change to enable better
presentation of the Arabic parts of a PDS title.
5/29:
New SDS release included a hardware upgrade for the DRS Streaming
Delivery Service and a change in the format of the URLs referencing
SDS.

Harvard Geospatial Library
5/9: HGL minor bug fixes, including:
- An icon with the functionality of "Remove layer from saved
list" didn't work and was corrected.
- Layer order for mapping is supported through thte Layer Legend
control.
- Data extract clipping (only downloading data that is in the map extent
of the user screen) was implemented.
- Restrict search by map extent was enabled in Basic search.
- Odd characters in the "Find a place functionalty" (gazetteer)
no longer cause errors.
- Page skipping when selecting a check box was fixed except for Internet
Explorer.
- Information to users asking them to wait 10 minutes for data downloads
was added to the data download message.
- On the data download page the map frame no longer overlaps the list of
data sets.
- An off-by-one error in data search results was corrected.
- The Layer Legend control's opacity was set to allow users to see the
map under the control.

5/13:
HOLLIS system enhancements update.

OLIVIA & VIA
5/11: VIA OAI update was released to fix a problem in VIA exports to
ARTstor that was preventing records that had once been deleted from VIA,
and subsequently re-added to VIA, from being exported to
ARTstor.
5/14: VIA release 2.5.16 included fixes for:
- Groups with works with multiple images incorrect numbering (bugs
1975,2454).
- Pagination problem on images (bug 1879).
- Misleading messages when saving to portfolio, exception when saving
record to portfolio multiple times (bug 2393).
- Cannot add components to portfolio without adding the whole
record.
- Partial fix for image chunking issues.
5/31: OLIVIA release 2.1.4.a8 included changes to accommodate a name
change for the Dumbarton Oaks repository and a fix for a bug in the
surrogate templates function.
