All existing NRS persistent identifiers (URNs) to audio files have been updated to point to the new SDS URL format, and the DRS Loader is now creating URNs that use the new URL format. All websites should reference DRS delivery files through NRS URNs. If you have links on a web site that do not use a URN, please update them to use URNs. These old links will not break immediately, but we do recommend that you update all links to use URNs if you have not already done so.
SDS URL Examples:
- Before the upgrade
- http://dylan.harvard.edu:8080/sds/servlet/sds?id=393563 – old style
will change to the URLs of a form - After the upgrade
- http://sds.lib.harvard.edu/sds/audio/393563 – new style
- http://dylan.harvard.edu:8080/sds/servlet/sds?id=393563 → redirected to http://sds.lib.harvard.edu/sds/audio/393563
- Before the upgrade
- http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:fhcl.loeb:sa2 resolved to http://dylan.harvard.edu:8080/sds/servlet/sds?id=393563
- After the upgrade
