Today, OIS migrated the Audio Streaming Delivery Service (SDS) to a newer and more sustainable server platform, with a new URL: http://sds.lib.harvard.edu. Deliverable audio files in the DRS are now delivered with the URL syntax: http://sds.lib.harvard.edu/sds/audio/<drsid>

All existing NRS persistent identifiers (URNs) to audio files have been updated to point to the new SDS URL format, and the DRS Loader is now creating URNs that use the new URL format. All websites should reference DRS delivery files through NRS URNs. If you have links on a web site that do not use a URN, please update them to use URNs. These old links will not break immediately, but we do recommend that you update all links to use URNs if you have not already done so.

SDS URL Examples:
Old style URLs are automatically redirected to new style URLs:
URNs (used in discovery systems such as HOLLIS, OASIS, etc.) have been automatically updated to reflect the change:
DRS depositors: URNs created by the DRS Loader automatically resolve to new URLs.

Thank you,
Vitaly
