OIS has completed the implementation of the Verde electronic resource management system for the start of FY10 for OIS processing use. The Verde system is now available for library staff view only access. In this first implementation phase, Verde has replaced the current ERM system for the management of Harvard University Library resources (i.e. resources for which OIS processes payment). A second implementation phase, scheduled to begin in Fall 2009, will extend Verde functionality to interested libraries for management of locally purchased/licensed materials.

Several open Verde overview sessions will be held in the coming months. These sessions will cover search and display of e-resource acquisitions and licensing records. The sessions will also cover the financial reports which will be available for users. All sessions will be held at OIS in room 021 of 90 Mount Auburn Street. All sessions will cover the same information about Verde and it is not necessary to RSVP.
