Aleph Client Outage Feb. 16 10:00 pm-8:00 am Feb. 17



Hello all,

This message will be of interest to all staff using the Aleph Staff Client.

The Aleph client will be unavailable from 10:00 pm Friday, February 16 thru 8:00 am Saturday, February 17.  Access to the HOLLIS catalog will NOT be impacted during this time period. 

OIS will be running a process to regenerate the Aleph Short Bibliographic records. These records are used in the HOLLIS Library Reporting System and on certain Acquisitions and Cataloging batch products. The records are being regenerated to solve an issue with unicode data in the HOLLIS Library Reporting System. We expect that the process will be complete by 8:00 am on Feb. 17. 

A message will be sent to HULINFO when the process is completed.

Please note that circulation and acquisition batch products will not be generated on February 16th.
