Subject: Aleph Update: Updated Circulation Module Distribution
Reply-To: Patricia Hatch

Hello all,

This is a reminder that OIS will be distributing a new executible file of the Circulation Module this evening.

In order to receive the updated Circulation module, you should shut down your computer this evening before you leave, or reboot your computer tomorrow morning.

When you log into your local network tomorrow, you will receive an Aleph GUI Update Version Check Window that will contain the new executible file.

You must accept the module by clicking the All button located on the right hand side of the GUI Update Version Check Window.

Supervisors should insure that their staff have shut down or rebooted their computers this evening or first thing tomorrow morning, and should also check to make sure that staff have accepted the updated version the module on all relevant workstations.

If you are not going to be in your office tomorrow, you can request that your supervisor reboot your computer and accept the module or you can simply reboot your computer and accept the module the next time you log into your computer.

What Should You do if You Don't Receive the Aleph GUI Update Window?

Contact your local IT Staff who will be able to assist you with updating your Aleph client.   If your local IT staff cannot update the modules, you may have to reinstall the entire Aleph client.

For a complete description of the module distribution process and the problems these new files will fix, see the Aleph Update located at:

As always, please report problems to the Aleph Support Center at http://hul.harvard.edu/ois/systems/aleph/support.html.

Thanks,

Patty
