This message will be of interest to acquisitions staff who have received
CD containing historical data.
We received several reports from users, who had successfully used
the CDs in the past, but were now receiving an error message "No Reports
Found."
With much assistance from IT staff and information from the vendor's
tech support a solution has been found.
Here's what to do:
1) Open the application
(Start->Programs->CD Services Client->Anacomp Viewer)
2) If the Select Report Filter window appears click Edit
If the Select Report Filter window does not open automatically
when
you open the application, click File then Select Report Filter and
click Edit
3) In the upper Left quadrant of the Define Report Filter window,
there is a box labelled "Relative Date Range." One of the fields in
it is labelled "#." By default this contains the number 1. Change
this to 10. Click Save.
All the data on the CD is now more than one year old. The default
# of 1 was only looking for data within the past year and none existed.
By increasing the digit in the "#" field you can view data within the
last 10 years.
The solution has been tested and confirmed to have resolved the issue
by 2 users.
