Most users are no longer experiencing problems with connecting to Aleph,
accepting files via version update, or performing daily tasks. A few
users have reported problems using the cataloging module. We have
determined that the new cataloging module was not copied successfully
through version update for these desktops.
If you continue to experience problems with your Aleph client please
follow these steps to ensure that you have all of the necessary files:
1. Click on the ALEPH menu in the Cataloging or Circulation module
2. Select Version Check from the ALEPH Menu
3. A GUI Update Version Window will appear on your screen showing you
the files that will be added to your Aleph Client. Click the Update All
button to download the files.
4. Your Aleph client will reboot and the Aleph Password Dialog box will
appear on your screen. Type in your regular username and password, and
you will be able to begin work as usual.
If you continue to have problems after running the version check, please
report the problem via the Aleph Support Center:
