MARC records for several e-book collections have recently been loaded
into HOLLIS. Descriptions of the collections and sample records are
below.

Literature Online - Full-Text Collection
Includes approximately 16,000 MARC records representing works of English
and American poetry, drama and prose. [Note: Enhanced records are
anticipated in the future, at which point existing records will be
overlaid).

Includes approximately 850 MARC records for streaming video clips of
poets reading their own and other poets' work. .

Includes records for key criticism and reference resources, such as
the American novel series.

Black Thought and Culture
Includes approximately two hundred MARC records representing monographs,
essays, articles, speeches and interviews written by leaders within the
black community from the early 19th century to 1975. The collection
begins with the works of Frederick Douglass, and will include works by
W.E.B. DuBois, Alain Locke, Mary McLeod Bethune, Malcolm X, Ida B. Wells,
Bobby Seale, and many others. Approximately 20% of the collection has not
been previously published.

American and French Research on the Treasury of the French
Language
Includes approximately 1,600 MARC records representing texts ranging from
classic works of French literature to various kinds of non-fiction prose
and technical writing ... genres include novels, verse, theater,
journalism, essays, correspondence, and treatises ... subjects include
literary criticism, biology, history, economics, and philosophy.
