HOLLIS Catalog/Aleph System Schedule of Availability
The HOLLIS Catalog provides public access to library catalog information. The Aleph system is used by library staff to create and edit bibliographic records, order library materials, check-in serial publications, and add item information.
The HOLLIS Catalog and the Aleph system share the same databases. The HOLLIS Catalog and the Aleph system are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with the following exception:
Sunday mornings 3:30 am-4:30 am: Both the HOLLIS Catalog and the Aleph system will be unavailable for scheduled system maintenance.
Please note that it is possible that the system may become unavailable for brief time periods to fix problems or for other maintenance needs. In these instances, OIS will try to schedule maintenance windows on Tuesday or Thursday mornings from 5:00 am-7:00 am. A message will be sent to the hulinfo mailing list alerting staff when the system will not be available, and provide an estimate time as to when the system will become available again.
If you have any questions concerning system availability, please submit a general Aleph question.
