How to manipulate the image

JPEG2000 images delivered from the Harvard University Library Digital Repository can be manipulated through this interactive viewer. You can zoom in on an image to see details, pan (move) the image to change the part being viewed, and rotate the image to change its orientation. You can also open the image in a separate window and print or save it for later use. Consult the diagram and descriptions below for help using these options.

Zoom in	Click the zoom mode button then click on the image to zoom in. Click again to increase the magnification factor. Or, use the zoom controls in the toolbar. Click the zoom in button to zoom in incrementally. Use the zoom slider to zoom continuously in. Or enter a zoom percentage and click Go.
Zoom out	Use the zoom slider or zoom out button to reduce the magnification level.
Pan around image	Click the pan mode button then click and hold on the image to move it around within the frame.
Rotate image	Each click of a rotate button will rotate the image 90 degrees to the left or right.
Change image frame size	Click one of the Viewing size boxes to change the size of the frame containing the image.
Reset image to original size	Use your browser's reload or refresh button to return the image to its original size.
Reposition toolbar	Depending on the dimensions of the image, toolbar controls will display on the left or at the top. Use Set toolbar to ... to move the toolbar controls to left (vertical) or top (horizontal).

How to save or print the image

Use the Full view image option to open the image in a separate window and print or save the image for later use.

1. Click the Full view image option in the toolbar.

2. Select a size (small, medium, large, x-large) and the image will open in a new window.

3. Right click over the image and select an option from the menu. Or select these options from the browser main menu.
