For system technical support
Library Technology Services provides technical support for OASIS and Archivists' Toolkit operations. To ask a question or report a problem, send a comment to OIS:
- Send OASIS questions to the OASIS support team.
- Send Archivists' Toolkit questions to the AT support team.
If you are reporting a problem, please include as much detail as possible in your report. Include the EADID of the finding aid if this is relevant.
For help with archival practices; finding aid encoding
For questions about archival practices, including finding aid encoding, please consult the manuscripts and archives community at Harvard. There are several options:
- Consult resources offered by the MAT Affinity group. Their isite is a place for the archives and manuscript community to share resources, templates, and tools for describing archival and manuscript collections at Harvard.
- Ask your question on MADL (Manuscripts and Archives Discussion List). See the Harvard Library Lists page for a description of this list and subscription form.
- Contact your local liaison for OASIS or Archivists' Toolkit about how EAD has been implemented at your repository.
