Uploading Finding Aids to OASIS
There are two ways to submit or "upload" finding aids to OASIS: by secure FTP to a batch loader or by a web-based interactive loader.
- Batch Loader
- – Access by account password.
- – Finding aid available next day.
- – Upload multiple files at a time.
- – Recommended for files over 1MB.
- Interactive Loader
- – Access by registered HUID / PIN.
- – Finding aid available in real time.
- – Upload one file at a time.
- – Offers finding aid preview and download.
It is recommended that repositories use the OASIS test system to preview new or updated finding aids before these are uploaded to the production system.
