August 16-25: IFLA in Boston

The annual conference of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) will be held from Thursday through Saturday, August 16-25, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Although Harvard is not hosting the IFLA conference, the University will serve as a venue for an IFLA reception to which conference registrants are invited. In addition, several Harvard libraries will provide pre-scheduled and registered tours during the conference.

Harvard librarians and staff members are asked to keep their respective library administrators advised of their IFLA-related plans. The Harvard University Library (HUL) administration will serve as a clearinghouse for IFLA-related activities at Harvard. To ensure that the entire HUL community is up to date, please forward all information about IFLA-related activities to iflahul@hulmail.harvard.edu. These activities will be posted on the HUL calendar of events.

To register for the conference or to receive program information, visit IFLA's web site, www.ifla.org/Ivifla67. For further information, contact Mathilda van Es or Anna Williams at 5-3650.
