Now online:
Women and War

Radcliffe's Schlesinger Library has created an online version of "Women and War," an exhibit drawing on the library's photographs, manuscripts, ephemera, and books. "Women and War" documents the involvement of women in the many facets and faces of war, from the Civil War through the Vietnam Era.

The online exhibit is a representative sampling of a larger in-house exhibit mounted by photographic curator Marie-Hélène Gold that was on view in the library until February 15. The online exhibit, launched by Joanne Donovan, audio-visual assistant, and Glynn Edwards, manuscripts processor, includes a selection of digitized photographs, pamphlets, and book covers, as well as excerpts from letters and diaries, arranged by topic. Visit the online exhibit at http://www.radcliffe.edu/schles/newsevnt/exhibits/war/index.htm.
