Renovations Under Way at the Harvard University Archives

Renovations are under way at the Harvard University Archives in Pusey Library. The renovations, scheduled for completion in September, include construction of a new reading room and public space as well as an upgrade of the existing staff work areas. The project will result in a better work environment for researchers and staff alike.

Throughout the two-month renovation, the Archives will remain open-although occasional brief closings and limitations on hours may be necessary. Beginning June 17, 2002, Archives reading room hours will be Monday through Friday, 10 am until 4:45 pm.

During construction, the Archives reading room will be temporarily relocated to smaller quarters within their existing space. Researchers planning to visit this summer are asked to be prepared to work in constrained and possibly noisy space. For renovation updates, contact the Archives by phone at 5-2461 or online at http://hul.harvard.edu/huarc.
