In Memoriam: Alicja Altenberger
On May 25, Alicja Altenberger, head cataloger in the Monroe C. Gutman Library of the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), died after a lengthy illness. In the words of HGSE Librarian John W. Collins III, "Alicja
was dedicated to the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her fine work
and engaging personality touched us all. Alicja's passion for art and culture
brought many international artists and exhibits to Gutman Library. Among
her Harvard library colleagues she will be remembered as a highly talented librarian and role model."
At a later date, an event will be held in Altenberger's memory at the Gutman Library.
