Atkins Endows Widener Reference Services Room

Widener Library's Reference Services Room has been endowed by Victor K. Atkins, Jr., AB '67, MBA '72, and renamed in memory of his mother, Elizabeth Tanner Atkins. Mr. Atkins lives in Santa Barbara, California, and is a former member of the Library Visiting Committee. A new commemorative plaque for the Atkins Reference Room, shown here with Nancy Cline, Roy E. Larsen Librarian of Harvard College, was installed on May 2. The Atkins Reference Room, Room 230, on the second floor of Widener Library houses the reference desk and computer workstations.
