Gutman Exhibit Honors Altenberger
From September 6 until September 23, an exhibit celebrating the life of Alicja Altenberger will be held in the Gutman Library of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Altenberger, who was head cataloger in the Gutman Library, died on May 25 after a lengthy illness.
"Alicja's passion for art and culture brought many international artists and exhibits to Gutman Library," said John W. Collins III, librarian of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The event in her honor will feature the work of 20 international artists, each one having been exhibited at the Gutman in recent years at Altenberger's behest.
