Monday, April 10 - Tales from the Courthouse
The Harvard University Retirees Association and the Professional
Development Committee of the Librarians' Assembly invite you
to a brown-bag lunch presentation, "Tales From the Courthouse:
Harvard in Colonial Days," by Diane Rapaport.
Colonial court records reveal a 17th-century Harvard community that
was far more diverse and lively than its Puritan origins suggest.
Diane Rapaport is a former trial lawyer with a BA in history, an
award-winning author, and a frequent lecturer for historical and
genealogical programs. The event will be held in the Forum Room
in Lamont Library on Monday, April 10, from 12 to 1:30 pm.
